Almost all flights to Calpe land at Alicante-Elche (ALC), about 80 km away and a good hour via the AP-7 and N-332. Picking up right there is the most convenient option if you arrive at night or with luggage and children: you leave the terminal with the car and don't depend on the scheduled bus or an expensive transfer.
The other option is to pick it up in Calpe itself. Several local companies have offices in the Arenal area, the port and Avenida Gabriel Miró, and many deliver the car to your hotel or apartment at no cost. This is worth it if you arrive by train or bus, or if you only want the car for a few days of your trip. From Valencia (VLC, 150 km) the journey is a good hour and a half, and it's also worth it if the flight is cheaper.

Calpe is served by the N-332, which runs through the town, and the AP-7, toll-free since 2020, which connects in minutes to Altea, Benidorm and Denia.
